The Lab for makers of the future
The Future Storytelling Lab (FSL) of ArtEZ University of the Arts is a breeding ground for artistic innovation within higher art education. We investigate how new technologies can be used within art, to challenge storytelling and conventions, expand creative possibilities and stimulate transformative narratives. At FSL a commitment to regenerative practices is central, so that our activities contribute to sustainable, inclusive and ethical futures.
The Future Storytelling Lab (FSL) is a vibrant place for interdisciplinary research where fourth-year bachelor's, master's, staff and alumni come together to explore the changing landscape of storytelling through a digital lens. As an open lab, FSL encourages playful experimentation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, prototyping and playtesting. It encourages innovative approaches to exploring how stories are told, shared and experienced in the digital age.
In short, how do we tell the stories of the future?
